Montreal, February 4, 2021<\/strong> \u2014 Despite the pandemic, the Quebec Athlete Excellence Foundation (FAEQ) is continuing its mission by awarding no fewer than 130 000 $<\/strong>\u00a0into individual scholarships to 47 <\/strong>star student-athletes during a virtual scholarship presentation held this noon on the Zoom platform.<\/div>\n

\u00abFor more than 35 years now, the FAEQ has been able to count on loyal and generous partners, come hell or high water, and it makes it a duty to financially support and offer support services to the province's best student-athletes in their quest for academic and athletic success, recalled Claude Chagnon, President of the FAEQ.<\/div>\n

At noon today, 22 recipients received an academic excellence scholarship which rewards student-athletes who maintained an average of 80 %<\/strong>\u00a0and even more in their recent studies, while 25 winners received the academic and athletic success support scholarship which encourages good conciliation <\/strong>sports and studies.<\/div>\n
