Montreal, October 30, 2019<\/strong> Yesterday, the Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) announced the names of 27 highly promising student-athletes who shared $78,000 $ in individual bursaries thanks to the success of the D\u00e9fi 808 Bonneville 2019, the FAEQ's fundraising cycling event. A total of 16 donors or participants were able to present bursaries of $2,000 $ or $4,000 $ to their sponsored student-athlete(s) as new patrons, in the name of their company or team. (See table below).

\u00abI am delighted with the more than positive impact of the 2019 Bonneville 808 Challenge; the event is only gaining in popularity, the partners were very generous, and the participants, who pushed their limits and were filled with inspiration, became inspiring themselves. It is therefore with pleasure and pride that I confirm that the 4th edition of the Bonneville 808 Challenge for the benefit of the FAEQ will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19, 2020, once again in Mont-Tremblant. The launch of the 4th edition will therefore take place in the spring of 2020, at the Bonneville Industries premises in Beloeil, and the FAEQ will take this opportunity to present its 2nd series of scholarships related to the 2019 Bonneville 808 Challenge.<\/p>\n
