{"id":472,"date":"2019-05-01T14:33:07","date_gmt":"2019-05-01T14:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raphaellef5.sg-host.com\/?p=472"},"modified":"2021-09-09T16:26:29","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T16:26:29","slug":"la-fondation-de-lathlete-dexcellence-appuie-15-athletes-grace-au-programme-de-bourses-loto-quebec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondationaleo.ca\/en\/la-fondation-de-lathlete-dexcellence-appuie-15-athletes-grace-au-programme-de-bourses-loto-quebec\/","title":{"rendered":"The Athletes' Foundation of Excellence supports 15 athletes through the Loto-Qu\u00e9bec scholarship program."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"col-md-8\">\n<div class=\"content\"><strong>Montreal, May 1, 2019<\/strong> Loto-Qu\u00e9bec is pleased to reveal the names of 15 talented athletes who will benefit from a total of $40,000 $ in individual scholarships of $2,000 $ or $3,000 $ as part of the 12th edition of its scholarship program from the Quebec Foundation for Athletic Excellence (FAEQ).<br \/>\nHighlights<br \/>\nThe Loto-Qu\u00e9bec scholarship awards, reserved for athletes with physical or sensory limitations, took place at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex during the D\u00e9fi sportif AlterGo, of which Loto-Qu\u00e9bec is one of the main sponsors.<br \/>\n\u2022 Among the 15 scholars in 2019, we note the presence of Antoine Lehoux, who is currently representing the country at the Para Hockey World Championship, and Charles Moreau, the reigning vice-champion of the Paracycling World Cup in the H3 class.<br \/>\n\u2022 Organized in collaboration with D\u00e9fi sportif AlterGo, a major player in adapted sports, the Loto-Qu\u00e9bec Scholarship Program is managed by the FAEQ, in collaboration with various organizations for athletes with physical or sensory limitations: Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, the Quebec Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (AQSPC), the Quebec Association of Sports for the Blind (ASAQ), Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, the Quebec Cycling Sports Federation (FQSC), the Quebec Swimming Federation (FNQ), and the Quebec Table Tennis Federation (FTTQ).<br \/>\nCitations<br \/>\n\u00abLoto-Qu\u00e9bec is proud to have contributed to the development of about a hundred athletes by awarding nearly $500,000 $ in scholarships since the program's inception. What we want above all is to highlight exceptional athletes who distinguish themselves in a variety of sports. They accomplish great things and deserve to have their efforts and successes recognized.
