Montr\u00e9al, le 31 mai 2023 \u2013<\/strong> La Fondation Al\u00e9o et 11 de ses pr\u00e9cieux partenaires ont remis 128\u00a0000\u00a0$ en bourses individuelles \u00e0 38\u00a0\u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes de talent dans le cadre de son cocktail printanier annuel, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Archer<\/strong> et organis\u00e9 pour la toute premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 L\u2019Auberge Saint-Gabriel \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Les 11 partenaires qui appuient les r\u00e9cipiendaires sont\u00a0: Aquam<\/strong>, Cogeco Media<\/strong>, Real Estate Fair<\/strong>, Fondation Bruny Surin<\/strong>, Gilles Chatel Foundation<\/strong>, Groupe MTY<\/strong>, Lussier<\/strong>, Parasports Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong>, RNC M\u00e9dia<\/strong>, Dons communautaires Ted\u00a0Rogers<\/strong> ainsi que Nestl\u00e9 Health Science<\/strong>, qui a profit\u00e9 de la soir\u00e9e pour annoncer un renouvellement de partenariat \u00e0 la hauteur de 60\u00a0000\u00a0$ pour les deux prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Pendant le cocktail printanier, Al\u00e9o a par ailleurs proc\u00e9d\u00e9 au lancement du Cercle des jeunes philanthropes, qui aura comme mandat de soutenir financi\u00e8rement la mission de la Fondation par des initiatives et des \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Le Cercle sera pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par l’ancien boursier et fondeur Alexis\u00a0Turgeon <\/strong>et cible les professionnel\u00b7le\u00b7s de 18 \u00e0 35\u00a0ans partageant les valeurs d\u2019Al\u00e9o.<\/p>\n

The Foundation for Athletic Excellence (FAEQ) has adopted a new name and visual identity: AL\u00c9O \u2013 Propelling the athlete beyond sport<\/strong>. This change aims to further highlight its personalized approach where overall well-being<\/strong> while Well-being in performance<\/strong> its scholarship holders are at the center of its actions.<\/p>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Established in 1985, the Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) has awarded over $20 million in scholarships to nearly 4,000 outstanding student-athletes from across Quebec. With the goal of clarifying the organization's mission to propel athletes beyond sports, in 2022 the FAEQ rebranded and changed its name to Fondation Al\u00e9o. In addition to continuing its provision of scholarships and support services to tomorrow's leaders, it confirms its personalized approach, focusing on the overall well-being and development of its scholarship recipients in their performance.<\/p>\n
