Montr\u00e9al, le 23 novembre 2023 \u2013 <\/b>Les 15 et 16 septembre dernier, le 7balancing<\/sup> D\u00e9fi 808 Bonneville a \u00e9t\u00e9 roul\u00e9 \u00e0 Mont-Tremblant permettant de recueillir les fonds pour remettre 152 500 $ en bourses et services octroy\u00e9es par 15 parrains ou partenaires de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e0 35 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes. Depuis la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition en 2017, c\u2019est ainsi plus d\u2019un million de dollars qui a pu \u00eatre vers\u00e9 en bourses \u00e0 quelque 400 r\u00e9cipiendaires.<\/p>\n

Lors de la remise des bourses qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e \u00e0 la Maison du loisir et du sport du Qu\u00e9bec, les commanditaires pr\u00e9sentateurs Fenplast<\/b> (8000 $) et Rona<\/b> (10 000 $), les partenaires majeurs Bonneville<\/b> (42 000 $) et Qu\u00e9becor<\/b> (10 000 $) ainsi que 11 autres parrains ou partenaires ont pu rencontrer personnellement les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants-athl\u00e8tes qu\u2019ils soutiennent.<\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agissait de la derni\u00e8re \u00e9dition du D\u00e9fi 808 Bonneville dans la forme actuelle. La Fondation Al\u00e9o transmet maintenant le t\u00e9moin aux Industries Bonneville, qui prennent le relais de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u00f4toyer les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants-athl\u00e8tes m\u2019inspire \u00e9norm\u00e9ment, comme entrepreneur, comme passionn\u00e9 de d\u00e9fis, comme humain. Over $1 Million in Bursaries Thanks to Seven Bonneville Challenges<\/span><\/h1>\n

$152,500 Awarded to 35 Student-Athletes in 2023<\/span><\/h3>\n

Montr\u00e9al, November 23, 2023 \u2013 <\/b>On September 15 and 16, participants in the seventh annual Bonneville 808 Challenge took to the pavement in Mont-Tremblant to raise the funds needed to award $152,500 in bursaries and services to 35 student-athletes, presented by fifteen event sponsors and partners. Since the very first Challenge in 2017, more than a million dollars in bursaries have been awarded to approximately 400 recipients.<\/p>\n

At the awards gala, which was held at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport du Qu\u00e9bec, presenting sponsors Fenplast<\/b> ($8,000) and Rona<\/b> ($10,000), major partners Bonneville<\/b> ($42,000) and Qu\u00e9becor<\/b> ($10,000), and eleven other sponsors and partners had the opportunity to award bursaries to the recipients and to meet their sponsored student-athletes in person.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event was the final Bonneville 808 Challenge to be held in its current form. The Al\u00e9o Foundation will now pass on the torch to Bonneville Industries, who will take over the event.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/a>Getting to know and be around these student-athletes is hugely inspiring for me, as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and someone who likes to push physical limits. The collaboration between the Al\u00e9o Foundation and the Bonneville 808 Challenge is coming to an end, but I persevere in my conviction that we need to promote and celebrate healthy lifestyle choices.
