St-Pierre, who is always eager to meet his bursary recipients, took a special interest in each athlete’s successes and challenges.

One of the objectives of the GSP Sponsorship Program is to support student-athletes who practice sports that St-Pierre incorporated into his own training regimens: boxing, fencing, artistic gymnastics, judo, karate, wrestling, and taekwondo.

New this year: Amélie Henry, a bursary recipient from the very first cohort of the Georges St-Pierre Foundation Sponsorship Program, took part in the ceremony, this time as a donor.
