Montr\u00e9al, le 24 f\u00e9vrier 2024 \u2013<\/b> La collaboration entre Golf Qu\u00e9bec et la Fondation Al\u00e9o, instaur\u00e9e en 2014, permet encore une fois cette ann\u00e9e de soutenir 30 athl\u00e8tes de la rel\u00e8ve en leur offrant 90 000 $ en bourses et services pour la poursuite de leurs objectifs sportifs et scolaires. Depuis le d\u00e9but de ce programme, plus de 900 000 $ ont \u00e9t\u00e9 remis en bourses et en services aux golfeurs et aux golfeuses du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Lors de la remise, la cohorte 2024 a pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des conseils et du t\u00e9moignage d\u2019\u00c9tienne Papineau<\/b>, boursier de la toute premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition en 2014 et aujourd\u2019hui golfeur professionnel. Les r\u00e9cipiendaires ont ainsi vu l\u2019impact concret de la Fondation Al\u00e9o dans le parcours d\u2019un golfeur, jusqu\u2019aux plus hauts niveaux.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, la 10e<\/sup> \u00e9dition de la remise du Programme de bourses Golf Qu\u00e9bec x Fondation Al\u00e9o est possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 six g\u00e9n\u00e9reux donateurs : Claude Chagnon<\/b>, Fednav<\/b>, F. Furst Entreprises LTD<\/b>, Roland-Beaulieu Foundation<\/b>, Peacock Family Foundation<\/b> and Groupe Park Avenue<\/b>. Leurs dons s\u2019ajoutent \u00e0 une partie des profits du Challenge 808 Bonneville <\/b>2023 d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 ce programme.<\/p>\n

Le Programme de bourses Golf Qu\u00e9bec x Fondation Al\u00e9o a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 de concert par les deux organismes afin d\u2019aider financi\u00e8rement et de mieux encadrer les jeunes golfeuses et golfeurs, tout en les sensibilisant \u00e0 l\u2019importance primordiale de leurs \u00e9tudes en ad\u00e9quation avec leur carri\u00e8re sportive.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le golf est un sport avec une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 unique et il est important pour nous de soutenir les \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes de cette discipline de la meilleure fa\u00e7on possible. Notre collaboration avec Golf Qu\u00e9bec permet ainsi de participer au d\u00e9veloppement sportif des athl\u00e8tes d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui et de demain et de leur offrir la possibilit\u00e9 de s\u2019entra\u00eener de fa\u00e7on plus globale, en utilisant les m\u00eames outils que les athl\u00e8tes d\u2019autres sports, le tout en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d\u2019un encadrement scolaire de qualit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab Golf Qu\u00e9bec est tr\u00e8s fi\u00e8re de son association avec la Fondation Al\u00e9o au cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Les exemples de r\u00e9ussites sont nombreux. \u00c9tienne Papineau et C\u00e9leste Dao<\/b>, pour ne nommer que ceux-ci, ont profit\u00e9 du soutien continu de la Fondation afin de poursuivre leur d\u00e9veloppement aux plans acad\u00e9mique et sportif. Plusieurs autres jeunes athl\u00e8tes ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du m\u00eame encadrement et ce sera certes le cas des r\u00e9cipiendaires de la cohorte 2024. Ils peuvent tous pr\u00e9tendre atteindre de hauts niveaux de performance, et ce, m\u00eame sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. Je tiens \u00e9galement \u00e0 souligner le travail accompli par les entra\u00eeneurs qui constituent un pilier important du d\u00e9veloppement des jeunes athl\u00e8tes. Le partenariat entre nos deux organismes soutient ad\u00e9quatement la th\u00e9matique de Golf Qu\u00e9bec qui est d\u2019initier des passions et de nourrir des r\u00eaves. \u00c9videmment, le succ\u00e8s de ce programme serait impossible sans l\u2019apport financier de g\u00e9n\u00e9reux donateurs. About the Al\u00e9o Foundation
\n<\/b>Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1985, la Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) a octroy\u00e9 plus de 20 millions de dollars en bourses \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 4000 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes \u00e9m\u00e9rites de partout au Qu\u00e9bec. Golf Qu\u00e9bec\/Al\u00e9o Foundation Bursary Program Marks 10 Years<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An Approach that Helps Set the Course<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Montr\u00e9al, February 24, 2024 \u2013<\/b> This year, the collaboration between Golf Qu\u00e9bec and the Al\u00e9o Foundation, which was initiated in 2014, is once again making it possible to support thirty promising student-athletes by awarding them a total of $90,000 in bursaries and services to help them pursue their sport and academic goals. Since the program was launched ten years ago, more than $900,000 in bursaries and services have been awarded to golfers in Quebec.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, the 2024 cohort benefitted from the advice and personal accounts of \u00c9tienne Papineau<\/b>, a bursary recipient from the very first edition in 2014, who is now a professional golfer. This year\u2019s bursary recipients see tangibly, the way the Al\u00e9o Foundation can impact a golfer\u2019s career, all the way up to the highest levels of the sport.<\/p>\n

The tenth annual Golf Qu\u00e9bec\/Al\u00e9o Foundation Bursary Program was made possible by six generous donors: Claude Chagnon<\/b>, Fednav<\/b>, F. Furst Enterprises Ltd.<\/b>, the Roland-Beaulieu Foundation<\/b>, the Peacock Family Foundation<\/b>, and Groupe Park Avenue<\/b>. Their donations were in addition to a portion of the proceeds from the 2023 Bonneville 808 Challenge<\/b>, which were earmarked for this program.<\/p>\n

The Golf Qu\u00e9bec\/Al\u00e9o Foundation Bursary Program was created jointly by the two organizations to provide financial assistance and improved support to young golfers, while making them aware of the importance of pursuing their academic studies alongside their golf careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cGolf is a sport with its own unique set of realities, and it\u2019s important for us to support student-athletes in this discipline in the best way we can. Our partnership with Golf Qu\u00e9bec enables us to contribute to the development of the athletes of today and of tomorrow, and to give young golfers the opportunity to train in a more holistic manner, using the same tools as athletes in other sports, all while benefitting from quality academic guidance.\u201d<\/p>\n
