Montr\u00e9al, le 2 avril 2024<\/strong> – Une toute nouvelle bourse prend son envol \u00e0 la Fondation Al\u00e9o! La bourse du pr\u00e9sident Plan de match<\/em><\/strong> pr\u00eatera main forte \u00e0 des athl\u00e8tes qui souhaitent poursuivre des \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures en administration des affaires dans l’une des universit\u00e9s francophones du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re bourse du pr\u00e9sident Plan de match<\/em><\/strong>, d’une valeur de 5000 $, sera octroy\u00e9e ce printemps \u00e0 un\u00b7e \u00e9tudiant.e-athl\u00e8te qui commence un programme de ma\u00eetrise en administration des affaires, ou \u00e9quivalent, \u00e0 l’automne 2024.<\/p>\n

Cette collaboration marque la poursuite des efforts conjoints de la Fondation Al\u00e9o et de Plan de match<\/em> pour encourager les \u00e9tudiant.es-athl\u00e8tes de haut niveau \u00e0 poursuivre leur sport et leurs \u00e9tudes dans un environnement sain et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les \u00e9tudiant.es-athl\u00e8tes int\u00e9ress\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s doivent \u00eatre admissibles au programme Plan de match<\/em>, ou avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 admissibles dans le pass\u00e9, et sont tenus de remplir le formulaire de candidature<\/a> disponible sur les sites web de ce programme et de la Fondation Al\u00e9o. About the Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1985, la Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) a octroy\u00e9 plus de 20 millions de dollars en bourses \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 5000 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes \u00e9m\u00e9rites de partout au Qu\u00e9bec. Plan de match, parrain\u00e9 par Deloitte, est un programme canadien de mieux-\u00eatre global qui vise \u00e0 aider les athl\u00e8tes des \u00e9quipes nationales \u00e0 vivre une vie meilleure et bien remplie. Notre \u00e9quipe soutient les athl\u00e8tes sur le terrain et en dehors, et leur donne les moyens de rester plus longtemps dans le sport, d’\u00eatre plus performants et de prendre leur retraite en meilleure sant\u00e9, sachant qu’ils disposent des outils n\u00e9cessaires pour se pr\u00e9parer et \u00eatre des membres positifs de leur communaut\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les stades de leur carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Plan de match est le fruit d\u2019une collaboration entre le Comit\u00e9 olympique canadien (COC), le Comit\u00e9 paralympique canadien (CPC), le R\u00e9seau des instituts du sport olympique et paralympique (RISOP) du Canada et Sport Canada. Il vise \u00e0 fournir les meilleures ressources du pays aux athl\u00e8tes membres des \u00e9quipes nationales, ces sportifs de haut niveau qui ont tant donn\u00e9 et qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 une source d\u2019inspiration pour plusieurs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Al\u00e9o Foundation announces the Game Plan <\/em>President\u2019s Scholarship<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Montr\u00e9al- April 2nd, 2024-<\/strong> The Al\u00e9o Foundation is pleased to announce the brand-new Game Plan<\/em> President\u2019s Scholarship <\/strong>aimed at helping eligible athletes pursue post-graduate studies in business, in one of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s francophone universities.<\/p>\n

The Game Plan<\/em><\/strong> President\u2019s Scholarship<\/strong>, worth $5000 will select its first recipient this spring for a student-athlete who is beginning an MBA, or equivalent program, in the Fall of 2024.<\/p>\n

This collaboration marks the continuation of a joint effort by the Al\u00e9o Foundation and Game Plan<\/em> to encourage high-level student-athletes to pursue their sport and their studies in a healthy and balanced environment.<\/p>\n

Qualified student-athletes must be Game Plan<\/em> eligible, or have been eligible in the past, and must fill out the application form<\/a>, available on the Game Plan<\/em> and Al\u00e9o Foundation websites. The deadline to apply is April 28th<\/sup>, 2024.<\/p>\nApplication Form<\/a>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Created in 1985, the Foundation for Athletic Excellence (FAEQ) has awarded more than $20 million in bursaries to nearly 4,000 student-athletes from all over Qu\u00e9bec. In order to better reflect the organization\u2019s mission of elevating athletes beyond sport, the FAEQ changed its name and brand image in 2022, becoming the Al\u00e9o Foundation.
