Montr\u00e9al, le 2 mai 2024 \u2013<\/b> Encore cette ann\u00e9e, pour la 17e<\/sup> fois, dans le cadre du D\u00e9fi sportif AlterGo, Loto-Qu\u00e9bec se joint \u00e0 la Fondation Al\u00e9o pour mettre en lumi\u00e8re, reconna\u00eetre et encourager 14 para-athl\u00e8tes qui recevront 40 000 $ en bourses en plus des services offerts \u00e0 vie par la Fondation.<\/p>\n

Le Programme de bourses Loto-Qu\u00e9bec a une couleur unique au sein de la Fondation Al\u00e9o, car il reconna\u00eet annuellement les r\u00e9alisations d\u2019athl\u00e8tes ayant une limitation physique ou sensorielle exclusivement. Al\u00e9o g\u00e8re le programme, en collaboration avec des organismes qui encadrent les para-athl\u00e8tes. En 2024, Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, Ski de fond Qu\u00e9bec, Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de natation du Qu\u00e9bec, l\u2019Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des sports pour paralytiques c\u00e9r\u00e9braux, Ski Qu\u00e9bec Alpin, l\u2019Association sportive des Sourds du Qu\u00e9bec, Badminton Qu\u00e9bec et Tennis de table Qu\u00e9bec collaborent \u00e0 nouveau au programme.<\/p>\n

Des quatorze r\u00e9cipiendaires de l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re onze sont soutenu\u00b7e\u00b7s \u00e0 nouveau par la Fondation Al\u00e9o et Loto-Qu\u00e9bec. Parmi ces athl\u00e8tes, certain\u00b7e\u00b7s pourraient repr\u00e9senter le Canada aux Jeux paralympiques de Paris cet \u00e9t\u00e9, dont Sofia Fassi Fehri<\/b> en basketball en fauteuil roulant et F\u00e9lix Thomas Cowan<\/b> en paranatation.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs ancien\u00b7ne\u00b7s boursiers et boursi\u00e8res du Programme de bourses Loto-Qu\u00e9bec ont d\u2019ailleurs pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment laiss\u00e9 leur marque au niveau international, dont Philippe B\u00e9dard<\/b> en tennis en fauteuil roulant, notre ambassadeur Charles Moreau<\/b>, Mark Beggs<\/b> and Marie-Claude Molnar<\/b> en paracyclisme, Marco Dispaltro<\/b> en boccia, Val\u00e9rie Grand\u2019Maison<\/b> en paranatation, Dominic Larocque<\/b> and Antoine Lehoux<\/b> en parahockey de m\u00eame que Maude Jacques<\/b>, Rosalie Lalonde<\/b> and Cindy Ouellet<\/b> en basketball en fauteuil roulant.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Loto-Qu\u00e9bec divertit les Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois depuis plus de 50 ans et ses activit\u00e9s b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient \u00e0 toute la collectivit\u00e9. \n<\/b>Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1985, la Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) a octroy\u00e9 plus de 20 millions de dollars en bourses \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 4000 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes \u00e9m\u00e9rites de partout au Qu\u00e9bec. Loto-Qu\u00e9bec x Al\u00e9o Foundation Bursary Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n

14 Para-Athletes Honoured<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Montr\u00e9al, May 2, 2024 \u2013<\/b> For the seventeenth year, Loto-Qu\u00e9bec is once again joining forces with the Al\u00e9o Foundation during the D\u00e9fi sportif AlterGo to showcase, honour, and encourage 14 para-athletes, who will receive a total of $40,000 in bursaries, as well as lifetime services from the Foundation.<\/p>\n

The Loto-Qu\u00e9bec Bursary Program stands out within the Al\u00e9o Foundation, as every year it exclusively recognizes the achievements of athletes with physical or sensory limitations. The program is managed by Al\u00e9o, in collaboration with organizations serving para-athletes. In 2024, the program\u2019s collaborators once again include Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, Ski de fond Qu\u00e9bec, Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de natation du Qu\u00e9bec, the Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des sports pour paralytiques c\u00e9r\u00e9braux, Ski Qu\u00e9bec Alpin, the Association sportive des Sourds du Qu\u00e9bec, Badminton Qu\u00e9bec, and Tennis de table Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Of last year’s fourteen recipients, eleven are once again being provided support by the Al\u00e9o Foundation and Loto-Qu\u00e9bec. Some of these athletes may have the chance to represent Canada at the Paralympic Games in Paris this summer, including Sofia Fassi Fehri<\/b> in wheelchair basketball and F\u00e9lix Thomas Cowan<\/b> in para-swimming.<\/p>\n
