Longueuil, 7 mai 2024 \u2013<\/b> Pour une quinzi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, Beneva se joint \u00e0 la Fondation Al\u00e9o pour remettre 100 000 $ en bourses et en services de soutien \u00e0 23 jeunes athl\u00e8tes. Depuis le d\u00e9but de ce partenariat, plus de 200 jeunes ont pu profiter de 350 bourses, ce qui repr\u00e9sente 1,5 million de dollars en bourses et en services de soutien remis par Beneva \u00e0 la Fondation.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement annuel s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au bureau de Beneva \u00e0 Longueuil, o\u00f9 les r\u00e9cipiendaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis par le pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Chalifoux<\/b>, et Patricia Demers<\/b>, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la Fondation Al\u00e9o. Parmi eux, sept ont re\u00e7u leur premi\u00e8re bourse de la part de l\u2019entreprise, entrant ainsi dans le groupe des athl\u00e8tes soutenus par Beneva depuis 2010, dont la patineuse de vitesse Kim Boutin<\/b>, la nageuse Katherine Savard<\/b> et le plongeur Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b>.<\/p>\n

En plus de la remise de bourses annuelle, Beneva est devenue une partenaire de premier plan pour la Fondation Al\u00e9o, notamment en devenant pr\u00e9sentatrice du nouvel \u00e9v\u00e9nement-b\u00e9n\u00e9fice \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec, \u00c0 table pour les athl\u00e8tes<\/i>, ainsi qu\u2019alli\u00e9e lors du prochain Montreal Marathon Beneva<\/i>, pour lequel la Fondation Al\u00e9o sera du volet Du c\u0153ur \u00e0 la course<\/i>, comme cause officielle.<\/p>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation

15 years of collaboration between Beneva and the Al\u00e9o Foundation: over $1.5M in bursaries and services<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Longueuil, May 7, 2024 \u2013<\/b> For the fifteenth consecutive year, Beneva has joined forces with the Al\u00e9o Foundation to award $100,000 in bursaries and support services to 23 young student-athletes. Since the beginning of the partnership between the two organizations, over 200 aspiring young people have been awarded 350 bursaries, representing $1.5 million in funding and support services donated by Beneva to the Foundation.<\/p>\n

The annual bursary event took place at the Beneva offices in Longueuil, where the recipients were welcomed by Beneva\u2019s president and chief executive officer, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Chalifoux<\/b>, and the Al\u00e9o Foundation\u2019s executive director, Patricia Demers<\/b>. Seven of the athletes were first-time Beneva bursary recipients, joining a group of athletes who have been supported by Beneva since 2010, including speed skater Kim Boutin<\/b>, swimmer Katherine Savard<\/b>, and diver Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b> to name a few.<\/p>\n

In addition to awarding the annual bursaries, Beneva has become a leading partner of the Al\u00e9o Foundation, notably by presenting a fundraising event in Quebec City; \u00c0 table pour les athl\u00e8tes<\/i>, as well as by partnering with the organization for the upcoming Beneva Montr\u00e9al Marathon<\/i>, wherein the Al\u00e9o Foundation will be an official charity in the Run with Heart<\/i> component of the event.<\/p>\n

In addition to recognizing these young people and encouraging them to pursue their dreams, we also have the pleasure of watching them grow and develop to their full potential.
