{"id":6808,"date":"2024-06-04T00:10:22","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T00:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fondationaleo.ca\/?p=6808"},"modified":"2024-06-27T14:07:22","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T14:07:22","slug":"les-canadiens-et-la-fondation-aleo-remettent-60-000-en-bourses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fondationaleo.ca\/en\/les-canadiens-et-la-fondation-aleo-remettent-60-000-en-bourses\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadians and the Al\u00e9o Foundation award $60,000 $ in scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Vingt-huit \u00e9tudiants-athl\u00e8tes \u00e9m\u00e9rites de la province appuy\u00e9s dans leur poursuite de l\u2019excellence acad\u00e9mique et sportive<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Montr\u00e9al, le 3 juin 2024 \u2013<\/strong> Les Canadiens de Montr\u00e9al et la Fondation Al\u00e9o ont le plaisir d&rsquo;annoncer l&rsquo;octroi de 60 000 $ en bourses et services de soutien \u00e0 28 jeunes hockeyeuses et hockeyeurs-athl\u00e8tes de calibre \u00e9lite qui se sont d\u00e9marqu\u00e9s au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>La 17<sup>e<\/sup> \u00e9dition du <strong>Programme de bourses des Canadiens de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong> g\u00e9r\u00e9 par la Fondation Al\u00e9o, en partenariat avec Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, la Ligue de d\u00e9veloppement du hockey M18 AAA du Qu\u00e9bec (LHM18AAAQ) et le R\u00e9seau du sport \u00e9tudiant du Qu\u00e9bec (RSEQ), permet encore une fois cette ann\u00e9e d\u2019appuyer les meilleurs hockeyeurs et hockeyeuses de la rel\u00e8ve.<\/p>\n<p>Vingt-huit \u00e9tudiants-athl\u00e8tes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 17 ans ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9s pour leur talent, leurs r\u00e9alisations sportives et leur parcours acad\u00e9mique exceptionnel lors d\u2019une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise de bourses qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e lundi au Centre Bell. Une hockeyeuse a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e dans chacune des huit \u00e9quipes f\u00e9minines M18 AAA de la Ligue de hockey d\u2019excellence du Qu\u00e9bec (LHEQ), de m\u00eame que deux hockeyeurs du volet masculin M17 AAA de cette m\u00eame ligue. De plus, un hockeyeur a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi au sein de chacune des 15 formations masculines de la Ligue de d\u00e9veloppement du hockey M18 AAA. Trois boursiers \u00e9voluant au sein du RSEQ b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront \u00e9galement d\u2019un soutien financier. Twenty-eight student-athletes, who range in age from 15 to 17 years old, were recognized for their talent, sports achievements and outstanding academic performance at a scholarship awards ceremony held Monday at the Bell Centre. One recipient was selected from each of the eight female U18 AAA teams of the <em>Ligue de hockey d\u2019excellence du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em> (LHEQ), along with two male U17 AAA players from the same league. Additionally, one recipient was chosen from each of the 15 male LHM18AAAQ teams. Three hockey players from the RSEQ will also receive financial support. With the aim of promoting academic pursuits and preparing for a post-sports career, each will receive an individual bursary of $2,000, in addition to lifelong access to all support services provided by the Al\u00e9o Foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In their words:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Montreal Canadiens organization is proud to highlight the perseverance and accomplishments of young hockey players.
