Qu\u00e9bec, October 22, 2024 \u2013 Less than seven months after the great success of the first festive dinner \u00c0 table pour les athl\u00e8tes<\/strong> <\/i>presented by Beneva<\/strong>, $95,000 $ of the funds raised were redistributed to 26 student-athletes from the greater Quebec City and Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches regions. To this amount, the presenting partner of the event in 2025, Mobile Planet<\/strong>, as well as three program donors Give to the following<\/i><\/strong> were added in order to pay the impressive sum of 115,000 $ in scholarships and services to 34 recipients<\/strong>, during a special event held at Universit\u00e9 Laval's PEPS.<\/p>\n

The vast majority of the event's profits \u00c0 table pour les athl\u00e8tes<\/i> 2024 were awarded scholarships today, scholarships that always come with lifelong services for each scholarship recipient. The remaining amounts will be fully redistributed to student-athletes from the Quebec City and Chaudi\u00e8re-Appalaches regions, in a second phase, through Al\u00e9o Foundation programs such as Next Generation Access<\/i><\/strong> or college and university recruitment scholarships.<\/p>\n

Two male donors and one female donor from the program Give to the following<\/i>, supported by the Al\u00e9o Foundation in the past, have in turn awarded scholarships. Thus, Elizabeth Albert<\/b>, Charles Fortier<\/b> while Fran\u00e7ois-Olivier Roberge<\/b> were able to lend a hand to the next generation, just as the Al\u00e9o Foundation did for them during their sports careers.<\/p>\n

Following its participation in the 2024 event, Plan\u00e8te Mobile also wished to offer its first scholarships to launch its active involvement within the Al\u00e9o Foundation.<\/p>\n

Around 2025<\/b><\/p>\n

The scholarship awards ceremony was also an opportunity to launch the 2025 edition of\u2019\u00c0 table pour les athl\u00e8tes<\/i>, which will be held on the same date, at the same time, and in the same place as last March. The formula, which was very popular with the business community of the greater Quebec City area, will thus be reproduced on March 27, 2025. For the 2balancing<\/sup> edition, the Al\u00e9o Foundation counts on a new presenting partner, Plan\u00e8te Mobile. Mr. Jacques Francisque<\/b>, president of Rogers' Planet Mobile and Mobifone Fido, will be the honorary president of the dinner. He will be accompanied by Martine Dessureault<\/b>, Vice-President, Business and Private Management at National Bank of Canada, Patrick Cyr<\/b>, Executive Vice President and Leader, Value Creation at Beneva, and Martin Lavigne<\/b>, premier regional director at Scotia Wealth Management, as honorary patrons.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the inspiring Alex Harvey<\/b>, will resume its role as official spokesperson Dinner for the athletes <\/i>for a second year.<\/p>\n

An exclusive moment for tables purchased before the holidays<\/b><\/p>\n

Tickets are on sale now for March 2025. A very attractive perk is being offered to all those who purchase a table before December 18, 2024. These attendees, along with everyone at their table, will be invited to a special cocktail reception prior to the dinner, mingling with participating sports personalities. This includes opportunities for photos and unique meet-and-greets.<\/p>\n
