Montr\u00e9al, le 9 avril 2025 \u2013<\/b> Loto-Qu\u00e9bec et la Fondation Al\u00e9o c\u00e9l\u00e8brent cette ann\u00e9e la majorit\u00e9 d\u2019un partenariat unique mettant en lumi\u00e8re des para-athl\u00e8tes qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois\u00b7es. La 18e<\/sup> \u00e9dition de cette remise de bourses a reconnu et encourag\u00e9 les parcours de 13 para-athl\u00e8tes qui ont re\u00e7u 52 000 $ en bourses, toujours accompagn\u00e9es des services offerts \u00e0 vie par la Fondation.<\/p>\n

Le Programme de bourses Loto-Qu\u00e9bec reconna\u00eet annuellement les r\u00e9alisations d\u2019athl\u00e8tes ayant une limitation physique ou sensorielle exclusivement. Cette ann\u00e9e, nos fid\u00e8les alli\u00e9es Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, Ski de fond Qu\u00e9bec, Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de natation du Qu\u00e9bec, l\u2019Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des sports pour paralytiques c\u00e9r\u00e9braux, Ski Qu\u00e9bec Alpin, l\u2019Association sportive des sourds du Qu\u00e9bec et Badminton Qu\u00e9bec collaborent \u00e0 nouveau au programme.<\/p>\n

Une entente renouvel\u00e9e<\/b><\/p>\n

En plus de souligner les 18 ans de travail en \u00e9quipe, le partenariat entre Loto-Qu\u00e9bec et la Fondation Al\u00e9o peut regarder vers l\u2019avant. Effectivement, l\u2019entente de collaboration a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement reconduite et m\u00eame bonifi\u00e9e. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019\u00c9tat continuera d\u2019investir au cours des trois prochaines ann\u00e9es afin de soutenir encore mieux les athl\u00e8tes des parasports.<\/p>\n

Boursier Leadership<\/b><\/p>\n

Un des r\u00e9cipiendaires du Programme de bourses Loto-Qu\u00e9bec aura \u00e9galement la chance d\u2019int\u00e9grer le Programme Leadership de la Fondation Al\u00e9o cr\u00e9e en 2024. Mathieu Dorais<\/b> se joindra la cohorte 2025-2026 de ce programme regroupant des \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes aux parcours exceptionnels. Ce programme unique comprend des formations et des ateliers favorisant le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et des aptitudes en leadership.<\/p>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/b>
\n<\/b>Cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1985, la Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) a octroy\u00e9 plus de 25 millions de dollars en bourses \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 5000 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes \u00e9m\u00e9rites de partout au Qu\u00e9bec. Loto-Qu\u00e9bec x Al\u00e9o Foundation bursary program: Focus on inspiring athletes<\/h1>\n

Montreal, April 9, 2025 – <\/b>This year, Loto-Qu\u00e9bec and the Al\u00e9o Foundation celebrate the renewal of a unique partnership highlighting Quebec para-athletes. The 18th edition of the program recognized and encouraged the careers of 13 para-athletes, who received $52,000 in bursaries, in addition to the accompanying services offered for life by the Foundation.<\/p>\n

The Loto-Qu\u00e9bec Bursary Program annually recognizes the achievements of athletes with physical or sensory limitations exclusively. This year, our loyal allies Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, Ski de fond Qu\u00e9bec, Hockey Qu\u00e9bec, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de natation du Qu\u00e9bec, the Association qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des sports pour paralytiques c\u00e9r\u00e9braux, Ski Qu\u00e9bec Alpin, the Association sportive des Sourds du Qu\u00e9bec and Badminton Qu\u00e9bec are once again collaborating on the program.<\/p>\n

A renewed agreement<\/b><\/p>\n

In addition to celebrating 18 years of teamwork, the partnership between Loto-Qu\u00e9bec and the Al\u00e9o Foundation can look forward to continuing their work together. The partnership has been officially renewed and even bonified, as Loto-Qu\u00e9bec will continue to invest over the next 3 years to provide even greater support for parasport athletes.<\/p>\n

Leadership Recipient<\/b><\/p>\n

For the first time, one of the Loto-Qu\u00e9bec Bursary Program recipients will also have the chance to join the Al\u00e9o Foundation’s Leadership Program which was created in 2024. Mathieu Dorais will join the 2025-2026 cohort of this program, which brings together student-athletes with exceptional backgrounds. This unique program includes training and workshops to develop leadership skills and abilities.<\/p>\n
