Qu\u00e9bec, 29 mai 2025 \u2013<\/b> Patrick Cyr, vice-pr\u00e9sident ex\u00e9cutif et leader \u2013 Cr\u00e9ation de valeur chez Beneva ainsi qu\u2019administrateur au Conseil d\u2019administration de la Fondation Al\u00e9o a eu le plaisir de remettre 100 000 $ en bourses et services aux \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes de la 16e<\/sup> cohorte Beneva. En effet, il a accueilli les 24 boursi\u00e8res et boursiers de l\u2019\u00e9dition 2025 lors de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement annuel qui s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dans les bureaux de Beneva \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

Parmi les r\u00e9cipiendaires, 12 ont re\u00e7u leur premi\u00e8re bourse de la part de l\u2019entreprise, entrant ainsi dans le groupe des athl\u00e8tes soutenus par Beneva depuis 2009, dont les Olympiens Kim Boutin<\/b>, en patinage de vitesse, Katherine Savard<\/b>, en natation, et le plongeur Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b>, toujours boursier cette ann\u00e9e!<\/p>\n

Quelques mois apr\u00e8s les Jeux olympiques de Paris, les personnes rassembl\u00e9es pour la remise ont d\u2019ailleurs pu assister \u00e0 un bloc olympique o\u00f9 Nathan Zsombor-Murray, m\u00e9daill\u00e9 de bronze en 2024 et \u00c9mile Nadeau, Olympien de P\u00e9kin 2022, ont partag\u00e9 leur exp\u00e9rience unique.<\/p>\n

Finalement, la remise de bourses Beneva s\u2019inscrit dans un partenariat multiple, dont le Montreal Marathon Beneva<\/i>, pour lequel la Fondation Al\u00e9o sera du volet Du c\u0153ur \u00e0 la course<\/i>, comme cause officielle pour une deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9o Foundation x Beneva Scholarship Program: Investing in the dreams of Qu\u00e9bec student-athletes<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Quebec City, May 29, 2025<\/b>\u2014Patrick Cyr, Executive Vice-President and Leader, Value Creation at Beneva, and a member of the Al\u00e9o Foundation\u2019s Board of Directors, had the pleasure of awarding $100,000 in scholarships and services to 24 student-athletes, all part of Beneva’s 16th<\/sup> class of recipients, at the 2025 edition of this annual event held at Beneva’s Quebec City offices.<\/p>\n

Of the recipients, 12 received their first-ever scholarship from the company, joining such illustrious athletes as Olympians Kim Boutin<\/b>, speed skating, Katherine Savard<\/b>, swimming, and diver Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b>, who has been actively support by Beneva\u2019s program since 2009.<\/p>\n

At the scholarship presentation, held a few months after the Paris Olympics, those in attendance were able to listen to 2024 bronze medallist Nathan Zsombor-Murray and Beijing 2022 Olympian \u00c9mile Nadeau talk about their unique experiences.<\/p>\n

Beneva scholarships are part of a broader partnership that includes the Montreal Marathon Beneva<\/i>, of which the Al\u00e9o Foundation\u2019s Du c\u0153ur \u00e0 la course<\/i> will be the official cause for a second year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t count our partnership with the Al\u00e9o Foundation in years, although 16 years is quite impressive. For us, it\u2019s about having shared values and a common mission. At Beneva, we take care of our people, and so does the Al\u00e9o Foundation. Each recipient not only receives a scholarship but access to lifelong support. Founded in 1985, the organization has awarded over $25 million in scholarships to more than 5,000 student-athletes across Quebec. In addition to these bursaries, the Foundation also provides lifelong services to all recipients during and after their athletic and academic careers. To support these services, the Al\u00e9o Research Chair is now a vector of scientific results available to the entire sports community.<\/p>\n

The Generations of Impact<\/b> fundraising campaign aims to raise six million dollars over three years to bring us closer to our grand vision: that excellent student-athletes enrich society through their current and future leadership, both through their exceptional contributions and the inspiring examples they embody.<\/p>\n
