Montreal, December 11, 2025 \u2013 A total of $11,000 $ in scholarships, 100% % from funds raised by Gymnastique Qu\u00e9bec, Judo Qu\u00e9bec, and Parasports Qu\u00e9bec, was awarded as part of a special ceremony at the Maison du Loisir et du sport. This accomplishment is the result of the walking and rolling efforts of employees and friends from each of these federations who courageously participated in the various events of the Marathon Beneva de Montr\u00e9al, as part of a team with the Al\u00e9o Foundation, last September.<\/p>\n
The award ceremony, co-hosted by Olympic gymnast and Al\u00e9o Foundation scholarship recipient William Emard, was the scene of an emotional meeting between the awardees and the federation teams. Each and every one of them recognized their federation's exceptional commitment and presented them with this support.<\/p>\n
Thus, two scholarships were awarded in gymnastics, two in judo, one in wheelchair basketball, and one in para-athletics. In addition to these scholarships, the Al\u00e9o Foundation offers each scholarship recipient lifelong support services.<\/p>\n

Alexis Bourgault-Fournier \u2013 Trampoline Silver medalist at the Canadian Championships in individual in the N7 category. Xavier Brouillette \u2013 judo Gold medalist at the Canadian Open Championships in 2025. Nikola Cabrilo \u2013 wheelchair basketball Joined the Quebec junior team. Albert Chagnon - Artistic Gymnastics Won gold on the rings at Elite Canada. Roman Semyrozum \u2013 Judo Won top honors at the Pan American Cup in San Salvador in the U18 and U21 categories, in her weight class, in September.
