And sometimes, yes, it takes more than one screen to not miss a single thing about the 36 scholarship holders in action in Milan-Cortina. 36! We can't wait, and we're already so proud of you! Let's go!<\/strong><\/p>\n By Fran\u00e7ois-Olivier Roberge<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You are there. Whether these are your first Olympics. I'm thinking of B\u00e9atrice, Rose, Eli, Laurianne or F\u00e9lix. Whether you are veterans like Mika\u00ebl, Marie-Philip, Laurent, Laurence or Kim. Open your eyes wide, live from the inside this bubble that fascinates the world. You are there, you deserve it.<\/p>\n Be fast, strong, enduring, agile, and precise on snow, ice, and in the air. You have officially achieved superhero status! No one can ever take that away from you.<\/p>\n I'll allow myself a tip from an old veteran: find the superpower to slow down time so you can leave Italy with your heart full of memories. Those unique moments that thousands of cameras couldn't capture. It's these instant memories that will play on repeat in your stories, like a tireless old vinyl record.<\/p>\n For me, it was in 2006 and 2010, and I vividly remember that bike ride with my friend Jo around Stanley Park under a blue sky that, for two weeks, proved the naysayers of Vancouver's weather wrong. I recall the outdoor concerts in Turin and that evening, in the snow, when Whitney Houston lost her voice. I think of the emotions experienced in the stands, in communion with the crowd, watching Joannie Rochette, Clara Hughes, and the men's relay team led by Charles Hamelin.<\/p>\n Above all, my best Olympic memories are the family dinners after the competition, when all the pressure in the world had lifted. All that remained was pride, lightness, and an extraordinary sense of accomplishment.<\/p>\n Major achievements, medals (!!), undeniably put you in the spotlight and make you immortal. But your charisma and influence are already within you. Children in clubs already know your names. We watch reports about your journey as a family, and you are drawn, described, and idolized in school projects.<\/p>\n You are Olympians.<\/p>\n Everything is in place to shine! I know you've been floating on cloud nine since your Olympic selection. It's the most beautiful feeling. Now, just come down enough to let the magic speak, the magic you've been practicing since childhood, through thousands of hours of practice, competitions, and visualization.<\/p>\n The dream is to exceed your expectations, align everything, and achieve your impossible.<\/p>\n You may have heard these words, we mention them at the conclusion of each scholarship award ceremony, to our 600 scholarship recipients per year, and they resonate even more strongly for you, just hours away from your Olympic dream:<\/p>\n \u00abDear athletes.
