Quebec City, Friday, February 6, 2026 <\/strong>The Al\u00e9o Foundation, thanks to a major donation from the Quebec Remparts\u2019 Education Fund, presented scholarships to young female hockey players across Quebec before the game tonight. A total of $24,000 $ was given to the Al\u00e9o Foundation by the Quebec Remparts, via the team's Education Fund, thanks to profits raised from the Montreal Victory 50\/50 game held at the Centre Vid\u00e9otron on January 19, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe Al\u00e9o Foundation is extremely pleased to have been selected by the players of La Victoire. Several of them were scholarship recipients in the past, and it is very significant for us that they are choosing to give back to the next generation. It is also with great gratitude that we thank the Remparts for believing in the development of women's sports. Together, united around young scholarship recipients to support their journey, we contribute to the development of young women, both in sports, in their studies, and for their entire lives,\u00bb said Ms. Patricia Demers, Executive Director of the Al\u00e9o Foundation.<\/p>\n

The total sum of 24,000 $ is entirely dedicated to the development of women's hockey in Quebec through 13 scholarships awarded to the following female hockey players:<\/p>\n

Alice Bernard \u2013 Defense \/ Lac St-Louis Warriors M18 AAA<\/strong>
\n1Re<\/sup> Quebec City Ramparts Scholarship x Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/strong>
\n16 years old \u2013 Montreal (Pierrefonds-Roxboro)<\/strong>

\n<\/strong>Silver medalist at the Quebec Games in Sherbrooke in 2024.
\nStudy in 5e<\/sup> secondary school at Coll\u00e8ge Bourget.
\nWould like to represent Quebec at the Canada Games, in the winter of 2027, in Quebec City.
\nCommitted to the Champlain Lennoxville Cougars in Division 1 for next season.<\/p>\n

Jolianne Bergeron \u2013 Forward \/ Stars 55 M18 AAA<\/strong>

\n<\/strong>At 14 years old, Jolianne is bumped up to the M18 league, where she sits at the top of the scoring list.

\nWould like to become a teacher in addition to having her own summer hockey school.<\/p>\n

Camille Bihannic \u2013 Defenseman \/ Quebec M18 AAA Ace<\/strong>

\n17 years old - St-Henri<\/strong>
\n2000 $
\n<\/strong>Champion team in the Brampton 2 Nations tournament, under-18 category, in December 2025.
\nStudy in 5e<\/sup> secondary at \u00c9cole Pointe-L\u00e9vy.
\nBorn in France, she moved to Abitibi at a very young age and had to convince her parents to sign her up for hockey, as they were not familiar with the sport.<\/p>\n

Lyanna Bouchard \u2013 Forward \/ Quebec M15 AAA Ace<\/strong>
\n1Re<\/sup> Quebec City Ramparts Scholarship x Al\u00e9o Foundation<\/strong>
\n14 years old \u2013 Gasp\u00e9<\/strong>

\n<\/strong>Participated in the LHSEQ All-Star game in Quebec at the end of January, where she also scored a goal.
\nStudy in 2e<\/sup> secondary at Cardinal-Roy School.
\nLeft the family home at 12 years old to live in a boarding school in Quebec, driven by a passion for his sport.
\nAfter my sports career, I would like to move into a field related to natural sciences, with a particular interest in sports physiology. Sport has always played an important role in my life and I would like to continue to evolve in this environment in a different way.\u00ab<\/p>\n

Marine Charbonneau \u2013 Defenseman \/ Outaouais Olympiques M18 AAA<\/strong>

\nOn an individual level, Marine would like to improve her offensive game to help her team even more.<\/p>\n

\nI was selected at camp for Team Quebec for the Canada Games which will be held in 2027, in Quebec City, so one of my goals is to be part of the team.\u00ab<\/p>\n

\nMy main goal for next year is to play for a NCAA Division I team. I don't just want to be part of the lineup; I want to be an impactful player who helps her team win a championship. Personally, my goal is to improve every aspect of my game while maintaining academic excellence. It is paramount for me to succeed in my studies and perform well in school, as I know that the balance between books and the ice is the key to my long-term success.\u00ab<\/p>\n

About the Quebec Remparts Education Fund<\/strong>our<\/strong>Be
\n<\/strong>The Quebec Remparts Education Fund covers the tuition fees for players during their time with the team. Many players in the organization graduate over the seasons, thanks to the Remparts Education Fund. Players are required to continue their academic pursuits while playing hockey, and the Education Fund disburses the necessary amounts to cover the costs. This Fund also awards scholarships to certain players who decide to pursue their studies after their QMJHL careers. The 50\/50 Lottery remains the most significant source of revenue for the Quebec Remparts Education Fund. Since its implementation in 2015, hundreds of winners have shared grand prizes totaling tens of thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation
\n<\/strong>Established in 1985, the Fondation de l\u2019athl\u00e8te d\u2019excellence (FAEQ) has awarded over $25 million in scholarships to nearly 5,000 talented student-athletes from across Quebec.
