Montr\u00e9al, le 19 mars 2026 \u2013<\/b> La Fondation Al\u00e9o et la Banque Nationale forment une \u00e9quipe depuis 34 ans pour soutenir les \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes du Qu\u00e9bec. Partenaire b\u00e2tisseur de la Fondation Al\u00e9o, la Banque Nationale remet encore une fois cette ann\u00e9e 100 000 $ en bourses et en services \u00e0 21 r\u00e9cipiendaires issu\u00b7e\u00b7s de 16 sports diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n

En pr\u00e9sence de Patrick Charlebois<\/b>, conseiller principal en gestion de patrimoine et gestionnaire de portefeuille de la Banque Nationale, les r\u00e9cipiendaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7u\u00b7e\u00b7s au si\u00e8ge social de la Banque Nationale \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. En plus des ch\u00e8ques remis, chaque r\u00e9cipiendiaire obtient l\u2019acc\u00e8s imm\u00e9diat et \u00e0 vie aux services d\u2019accompagnement d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9quipe de la Fondation Al\u00e9o, notamment de l\u2019orientation, du mentorat, du soutien en transition de carri\u00e8re, des conseils en communications et bien d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n

Patrick Charlebois avait deux chapeaux lors de cette remise de bourses. En plus de repr\u00e9senter la Banque Nationale, l\u2019ultra-marathonien a \u00e9galement choisi de devenir donateur \u00e0 titre individuel. Une 22e<\/sup> bourse s\u2019est donc ajout\u00e9e, de la part de M. Charlebois, \u00e0 Andrew Maheux-Dyer<\/b>, un judoka de 16 ans, par l\u2019entremise du programme Donnez au suivant<\/i>. C\u2019est un exemple inspirant de partenaire corporatif convaincu personnellement de la force de l\u2019investissement dans le parcours des \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n

Une tradition de boursier \u00e0 travers 3 d\u00e9cennies<\/b><\/p>\n

Parmi plus de 435 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes appuy\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s par la Banque Nationale au cours du long partenariat avec la Fondation Al\u00e9o, plusieurs se sont particuli\u00e8rement illustr\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale, notamment Mika\u00ebl Kingsbury<\/b>, quintuple m\u00e9daill\u00e9 olympique et multiple champion du monde, plusieurs m\u00e9daill\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s olympiques, dont Jennifer Abel<\/b>, Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard<\/b> and Marianne St-Gelais<\/b>, le grand joueur de tennis F\u00e9lix Auger-Aliassime<\/b>, le cycliste entre autres gagnant d\u2019une \u00e9tape du Tour de France Hugo Houle<\/b> et encore bien d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9o Foundation and National Bank Program: A lasting commitment to the young people shaping tomorrow<\/h1>\n

Montreal, March 19, 2026 \u2013<\/b> Al\u00e9o Foundation and National Bank have been collaborating for 34 years to support student-athletes across Quebec. As a founding partner of Al\u00e9o Foundation, National Bank is once again awarding $100,000 in scholarships and services this year to 21 recipients representing 16 different sports.<\/p>\n

In the presence of Patrick Charlebois<\/b>, Senior Wealth Management Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank, the recipients were welcomed at National Bank\u2019s head office in Montreal. In addition to the scholarship cheques, each recipient receives immediate and lifelong access to the support services provided by Al\u00e9o Foundation\u2019s team, including career guidance, mentoring, transition support, communications coaching, and much more.<\/p>\n

Patrick Charlebois participates in the Pay It Forward<\/i> program<\/b><\/p>\n

Patrick Charlebois wore two hats at this scholarship ceremony. In addition to representing National Bank, the ultramarathon runner also chose to become an individual donor. As a result, a 22nd<\/sup> scholarship\u2014donated personally by Mr. Charlebois\u2014was awarded to Andrew Maheux-Dyer<\/b>, a 16-year-old judoka, through the Pay It Forward<\/i> program. This gesture serves as an inspiring example of a corporate partner who is personally convinced of the power of investing in the journeys of student-athletes.<\/p>\n

A tradition of scholarship recipients spanning three decades<\/b><\/p>\n

Among the more than 435 student-athletes supported by National Bank over the course of its long-standing partnership with Al\u00e9o Foundation, many have distinguished themselves on the international stage. These include Mika\u00ebl Kingsbury<\/b>, five-time Olympic medallist and multiple world champion; several Olympic medallists such as Jennifer Abel<\/b>, Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard<\/b>, and Marianne St-Gelais<\/b>; world-class tennis player F\u00e9lix Auger-Aliassime<\/b>; and cyclist Hugo Houle<\/b>, winner of a Tour de France stage, among many others.<\/p>\n
