Gatineau, April 21, 2026 \u2013<\/b> Pour une deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, la grande r\u00e9gion de Gatineau a concr\u00e9tis\u00e9 sa grande g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 en offrant encore davantage aux jeunes de la r\u00e9gion via 85 000 $ en bourses et en services \u00e0 30 \u00e9tudiant\u00b7e\u00b7s-athl\u00e8tes de l\u2019Outaouais, principalement de cat\u00e9gorie Espoir, de la part de 20 donateurs et donatrices engag\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s. Encore une fois, plus de 150 personnes se sont r\u00e9unies au Ch\u00e2teau Cartier, qui a g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement accueilli l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement coanim\u00e9 par Philippe Villeneuve du 104,7 Outaouais, une station Cogeco M\u00e9dia.<\/p>\n

The regional scholarship program in Outaouais aims to detect emerging talent in the region. Therefore, the focus is on athletes in the \"Espoir\" (Emerging) category, primarily high school students. At the Al\u00e9o Foundation, we want to support talented student-athletes from the very beginning of their talent's emergence. This program is therefore a perfect showcase for this objective.<\/p>\n

In addition to the scholarships offered directly by the Al\u00e9o Foundation, several local partners have joined to award scholarships directly to student-athletes. To bring together all these companies, the Al\u00e9o Foundation was able to count on two exceptional ambassadors who are Nicolas Gosselin<\/b> while Guy Leblanc<\/b> who have been able to rally their peers. These valuable allies are, first and foremost, the presenting partners Nomad Telecom<\/b>, Desjardins Hull-Aylmer<\/b>, Inspirations Voyage<\/b>, ainsi que Groupe Heafey-Les Galeries Aylmer, Groupe Mayer, Multivesco, Ch\u00e2teau Cartier H\u00f4tel & Resort, Golf Lac-Ste-Marie<\/span>, Lesage & Turgeon \u00c9lectrique, Xpresso Bar V\u00eatements, Sports aux puces Outaouais, Groupe Fortin-Golf et Immobilier, Ni-Co Energie, Charles Masse et Fran\u00e7ois Sylvestre, Fenomax, Restaurant Houston Gatineau, Isabelle Montpetit, Flames de Gatineau, Amor Construction. En compl\u00e9ment, Cogeco 104.7 Outaouais <\/b>was also the major media partner of the evening to benefit the athletes.<\/p>\n

\u00abThe Al\u00e9o Foundation's regional scholarship programs have two main objectives. The first is to support student-athletes in developing their talent while they are still in their home regions. The second is to build strong relationships with local business communities so that partners and scholarship recipients recognize each other and embark on a long journey together. We are extremely grateful for this enthusiastic response in the Outaouais region and are delighted to be able to support even more young athletes.\u00bb<\/p>\n

About the Al\u00e9o Foundation
\n<\/b>The Al\u00e9o Foundation's mission is to maximize the full potential of as many outstanding student-athletes as possible from all backgrounds, in order to generate significant and lasting impact. Created in 1985, it has awarded over $25 million in scholarships to more than 5,000 student-athletes from across Quebec. In addition to these scholarships, there is an essential component of services provided for life to all recipients during and after their athletic and academic careers.
