Qu\u00e9bec, 21 mai 2026 \u2013<\/b> Accueillis dans les bureaux de Beneva \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec, 21 r\u00e9cipiendaires de la cohorte 2026 du programme Beneva de la Fondation Al\u00e9o se sont vu remettre un total de 100 000 $ en bourses et en services par le pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction, M. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Chalifoux.<\/b><\/p>\n

Des 21 boursi\u00e8res et boursiers, six font leur entr\u00e9e dans le groupe d\u2019athl\u00e8tes soutenu\u00b7e\u00b7s par Beneva depuis 2009. Ce groupe de prestige compte notamment les Olympiens Kim Boutin<\/b>, in speed skating, Katherine Savard<\/b>, in swimming, and the diver Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b>! Une \u00e9quipe qui s\u2019enrichit d\u2019ann\u00e9e en ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Quelques mois apr\u00e8s les Jeux olympiques de Milan-Cortina, les personnes rassembl\u00e9es pour la remise ont d\u2019ailleurs pu assister \u00e0 un bloc olympique o\u00f9 Florence Brunelle<\/b>, m\u00e9daill\u00e9e d\u2019argent et de bronze de ces JO, \u00c9mile Nadeau<\/b>, 940th-Anniversary activities<\/sup> de la grande finale des sauts, ainsi que B\u00e9atrice Lamarche<\/b>, 540th-Anniversary activities<\/sup> au 1000 m et 740th-Anniversary activities<\/sup> au 500 m en patinage de vitesse longue piste, ont partag\u00e9 leur exp\u00e9rience unique.<\/p>\n

La remise de bourses Beneva s\u2019inscrit dans une association avec la Fondation Al\u00e9o qui se d\u00e9ploie \u00e0 travers plusieurs initiatives. Elle comprend notamment l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement At the Games for the athletes<\/i>, tenu en mars dernier, pour lequel Beneva agissait \u00e0 titre de partenaire co-pr\u00e9sentateur. Elle inclut \u00e9galement le Marathon Beneva de Montr\u00e9al, o\u00f9 la Fondation Al\u00e9o constitue, pour une troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, l\u2019une des causes associ\u00e9es au volet From the heart to the race<\/i> \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2026.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9o Foundation x Beneva Scholarship Program: Beneva is investing in student-athletes in Quebec for the 17th year<\/h1>\n

Quebec City, May 21, 2026 \u2013<\/b> At Beneva\u2019s offices in Quebec City, 21 recipients from the 2026 cohort of the Al\u00e9o Foundation\u2019s Beneva program were presented with a total of $100,000 in grants and services by President and CEO Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Chalifoux<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Of the 21 scholarship recipients, six are joining the group of athletes Beneva has been supporting since 2009. This prestigious group includes Olympians Kim Boutin<\/b>, in short track peed skating, Katherine Savard<\/b>, in swimming) and diver Nathan Zsombor-Murray<\/b>! It\u2019s a team that grows stronger every year.<\/p>\n

A few months after the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, those gathered for the ceremony were also treated to an Olympic exhibition featuring Florence Brunelle<\/b>, a silver and bronze medalist at those Games, \u00c9mile Nadeau<\/b>, who placed 9th in the ski jumping grand final, and B\u00e9atrice Lamarche<\/b>, who placed 5th in the 1,000m and 7th in the 500m in long-track speed skating, shared their unique experiences.<\/p>\n

The presentation of the Beneva scholarships is part of a partnership with the Al\u00e9o Foundation that encompasses several initiatives. These include the \u201cAux Jeux pour les athl\u00e8tes\u201d event, held last March, for which Beneva served as a co-presenting partner. It also includes the Beneva Montreal Marathon, where the Al\u00e9o Foundation is, for the third consecutive year, one of the causes associated with the \u201cDu c\u0153ur \u00e0 la course\u201d initiative in the fall of 2026.<\/p>\n
