Kingsey Falls, June 16, 2026 \u2013 <\/strong>Against the stunning backdrop of Marie-Victorin Park in Kingsey Falls, Cascades awarded a total of 100,000 $ in scholarships and services to 20 recipients of the 2026 edition of the Cascades Program, administered by the Al\u00e9o Foundation.<\/p>\n

For more than two decades, Cascades has been a loyal partner of the Al\u00e9o Foundation and has played a tangible role in its growth since 2005. By investing over 2,000,000 $ in student-athletes over the years, including local stars such as Mika\u00ebl Kingsbury<\/strong>, Alex Harvey<\/strong>, Am\u00e9lie Kretz<\/strong>, Emilie<\/strong> and Hugues Fournel<\/strong> or Alexandre Bilodeau<\/strong>, Cascades helps create Quebec's leaders for the next generation.<\/p>\n

Renewal of the agreement until 2028 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The scholarship award ceremony also provided an opportunity to announce the extension of the agreement between Cascades and the Foundation through 2028. A total of 200,000$ will be allocated 100% to scholarship recipients over the next two cycles and will be awarded in the form of scholarships and services.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, a former scholar of the Cascades program, who is now a donor within the program Give to the following<\/em>, took advantage of the moment to award its annual scholarship. Marie-Claude Surprenant<\/strong> supported for a second consecutive year Shelby Lajeunesse<\/strong>, in triathlon.<\/p>\n

Pay it forward<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, a former Cascades program scholar, who is now a donor to the Pay It Forward<\/em> program, took the opportunity to present her annual scholarship. For the second year in a row, Marie-Claude Surprenant<\/strong> supported Shelby Lajeunesse<\/strong> in triathlon.<\/p>\n
