La Capitale franchit le cap du million de dollars en appui à la Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence et remet de nouveau 80 000 $ en bourses à 22 étudiants-athlètes émérites en 2019

Quebec City, May 15, 2019 – Jean St-Gelais, Chairman and CEO of La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services, announced that the company is renewing its agreement with the Foundation for Athletic Excellence (FAEQ) until 2021, investing a total of $200,000 $ at a rate of $100,000 $ per year.

Members of La Capitale's senior management also took the opportunity to award 9 academic excellence scholarships recognizing notable academic results, 12 sports and academic achievement support scholarships encouraging the successful balance of sports and studies, and 1 perseverance scholarship highlighting the unique determination of recipients who have overcome challenges with an inspiring attitude.
So, 22 student-athletes shared $80,000 $ as part of the 10th edition of the La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services Scholarship Program within the FAEQ.
