Support services play an important role in the Aléo Foundation's offering to its active and retired scholarship recipients, throughout their athletic careers and beyond. Services are offered for life! Personalized approach, rigorous and confidential follow-up, career guidance, provision of tools, resume preparation, mock interviews, networking opportunities, and options for various observational or paid internships, all with the aim of ensuring smooth transitions throughout the lives of its fellows.

Orientation
- Development of a study plan compatible with your career as an athlete through our university contacts and our partner Alliance Sport-Studies
- Support in establishing your personal and professional goals as a student-athlete
- Assessment of your interests, aptitudes, abilities, personality, professional experiences, and personal needs to create a tailored career plan.
- Support in your decision-making process of whether or not to retire from sports
Academic support
- Information regarding the equivalence of diplomas obtained abroad
- Support in the college and university admission process
- The Foundation is collaborating with INS Québec to offer the services of the national Plan de Match program.

- Job Search Techniques: Initiation and Preparation
- Guidance in creating your resume and cover letter
- Professional interview simulation

Communications
- Supporting, guiding, and advising the scholarship recipients. The communications team's 360-degree experience is leveraged for student-athletes to support them in all facets of public communications.
- Training and workshops
- Consulting services (interviews, presentations, social media, speechwriting, image consulting, meetings with sponsors, resume writing, presentation editing, etc.)
- Direct line to student-athletes at all times.
- Media presence support and feedback.
- Press relations service, for both student-athletes and journalists.

- Support during significant changes in the student-athlete's journey (moving, changing educational institutions, connecting with specialists, etc.)

Your Guide
QMJHL Player Support
Concerned about the fate of these young men at the dawn of adulthood, the Aléo Foundation, thanks to financial support from the Molson Foundation, wants to be involved in the well-being, fulfillment, human development, and achievement of personal, academic, and vocational goals of these young hockey players so that they feel ready when the time comes to hang up their skates. This support will be provided in collaboration with the tutors and academic advisors of each team, hockey staff, and parents. The services put in place by FAEQ are:
- Personalized support for all QMJHL players, active or former;
- Meetings with parents, hockey staff, guardians, and academic advisors regarding new services offered to players.;
- Access to educational and career guidance;
- Job Interview Simulations;
- Resume writing assistance;
- University admission tracking;
- Mentorship;
- Networking opportunities;
- Internships or paid positions in companies.
