To encourage the pursuit of studies and sports in Quebec higher education institutions.

The Program

The college and university sports program is for student-athletes who play a sport on a Quebec college or university team whose activity is part of the Réseau du sport étudiant québécois (RSEQ) and/or Canadian Interuniversity Sport (USPORTS).

Scholarships

Objective:
To allow the retention of the best eligible student-athletes in the college sector and to foster the development of Quebec college sports.

Who:
Graduating student-athlete from a Quebec high school who wishes to play for a RSEQ Division 1 college team.

Eligible Sports:
1. Football
2. Basketball F/M
3. Hockey F/M
4. Soccer F/M
5. Volleyball F/M

Amount:
$1,000/ year for a maximum of 3 years ($3,000)

25 scholarships annually

University Recruitment
Scholarships

Objective:
To support the pursuit of higher education and athletic careers of eligible top student-athletes within a Quebec university team member of RSEQ or USPORTS.

Who:
Student-athlete graduating from CEGEP and looking to play in the Quebec university circuit.

Amount:
$2 000 / year for a maximum of 5 years ($5 000)

30 scholarships annually

University Merit
Scholarships

Scholarships offered to student-athletes competing within the university RSEQ who have distinguished themselves during the reference period through their exceptional results in both academics and sports.

Academic Excellence Scholarships:
10 scholarships of $2,000 per year (5 female and 5 male recipients)

Objective:
Encourage the return of student-athletes who have played at a university or college in the United States or elsewhere in Canada to a Quebec higher education institution.

Who:
Student-athlete who played at a college or university in the United States or elsewhere in Canada.

Amount:
2,000 $
