Highlights
The Loto-Québec scholarship awards, reserved for athletes with physical or sensory limitations, took place at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex during the Défi sportif AlterGo, of which Loto-Québec is one of the main sponsors.
Among the 14 scholarship recipients in 2018, we note the presence of Yves Bourque, who participated in the PyeongChang Paralympic Winter Games in para-Nordic skiing, as well as para-cyclist Charles Moreau, a double medalist at the Rio Games, and wheelchair basketball player Rosalie Lalonde, also in Brazil in 2016.
• Organized in collaboration with Défi sportif AlterGo and Special Olympics Québec, major players in adaptive sports, the Loto-Québec Scholarship Program is managed in partnership by the FAEQ and various organizations for athletes with physical or sensory impairments: notably Parasports Québec, the Quebec Cerebral Palsy Sports Association (AQSPC), the Quebec Deaf Sports Association (ASSQ), and the Quebec Blind Sports Association (ASAQ).
