A member of the Aléo Foundation's Board of Directors since 2012, Martin Lavigne has served as its Chair since 2021. He is also involved in other causes, notably the CHUM Foundation and the Jean Lapointe Foundation. A former baseball pitcher recruited by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1990, he is recognized for his strong leadership. He has excelled in finance for over 25 years, having held executive positions at the National Bank, including 9 years as President of National Bank Financial, Wealth Management.

Mathieu Laforest

International Business Analyst - Scholar 2001 to 2008

Mathieu Laforest was inducted into the Badminton Québec Hall of Fame and was also the first badminton player to receive this honor at the McGill University Sports Hall of Fame! Mathieu is an international business analyst and was Executive Vice President - Europe, Middle East, and Africa at BRP until September 2024. A graduate in mechanical engineering from McGill University, he is deeply committed to the Aléo Foundation, having served on its Board of Directors since 2016 and as a scholarship recipient from 2001 to 2008.

Emmanuel André-Morin was a Foundation scholar Hello From 2005 to 2010, during the time he stood out in volleyball, he was twice elected (2009 and 2010) Quebec university player of the year! A Chartered Professional Accountant with a degree in Administration from HEC Montréal, he is now the owner at Métrotec PGB Isolation. and board member of the Foundation Hello since 2017.

Executive Director of the Quebec student sports network

Director General of RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) since 2014, Gustave Roël has worked for over 25 years as the head of student activity development in schools in the Pointe-de-l'Île School Board. A volunteer, coach, trainer, and official, he has also served on numerous boards of directors for sports and cultural organizations, including the Aléo Foundation since 2014.

Claudine Labelle created the Fillactive organization in 2007 to encourage teenage girls to be active for life. Supported by prestigious partners, this former elite athlete implements visionary initiatives aimed at improving girls' overall health through physical activity presented in a healthy and supportive way.

Jacques Leblanc

President of Québec Entreprise Magazine

Jacques Leblanc is the President of Magazine Québec Entreprise, a publication that has been dedicated to spotlighting successful Quebec entrepreneurs for over 30 years. His entrepreneurial career spans 25 years. Mr. Leblanc is a former player in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and at the end of his athletic career, he quickly transitioned to coaching several sports teams. Throughout his journey, he has been an active administrator within elite municipal and regional sports associations.

Matthew Leblanc

Regional Vice President, Financial Services IG Wealth Management - Brokerage 2004 to 2006

Receiver and kicker for Laval University's Rouge et Or from 2004 to 2008 – a three-time Vanier Cup champion team –, Matt LeBlanc He completed a bachelor's degree in sports intervention before participating in American and European professional camps. A recipient of the Aléo Foundation scholarship (2005 to 2007), he was also a game analyst for the Rouge et Or and is currently the regional vice-president of financial services at IG Wealth Management. He is one of the first donors and instigators of the Give Forward program.

Joanie Proteau

Associate lawyer at Langlois Lawyers

Joanie Proteau's practice primarily focuses on insurance, general liability, and professional liability, particularly within the real estate and construction sectors. 

Among other things, she served as president of the Jeune Barreau de Québec. She teaches at the École du Barreau du Québec and mentors various professionals. She has also been involved in the community for many years, having served on various boards of directors for sports clubs in Quebec City and Lévis.

Mélanie Montplaisir has over 15 years of experience as a coach for competitive soccer teams, primarily on the women's side, and as a mentor and supervisor for educators. Over the years, she has been involved in the development of young athletes aged 12 to 20. As Head of Global Public Relations at BRP, a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications from the Université du Québec à Montréal, she brings her expertise in communication and marketing to the Aléo Foundation, where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2021.

Patrick Cyr is vicepresident executive and leader of the’integration At Beneva where he played a role of premiumAre plan in the merger project of La Capitale and SSQ Assurance. Member of the Order of Professional Accountants Agreed you Quebec (CPA – CA) and appointed Companion since the Order in 2019, he has previously done carriere at SSQ, occupying it differents management positions high-level. Throughout his career, his leadership qualities, rigor, and strategic business vision have been recognized.

With a particularly diverse career of over 25 years in the financial sector, Pierre Czyzowicz has advised a wide range of private and institutional investors. Beyond his in-depth knowledge of financial markets, he has developed particular expertise in advising investors on portfolio construction, manager selection, behavioral finance, and investment optimization through the use of non-traditional strategies.

Furthermore, Pierre is particularly familiar with the reality of athletes, being an accomplished paracyclist himself. He has two Canadian championships and four paracycling World Cup participations to his name.

This education has allowed her to develop strong expertise in financial and tax planning, as well as recognized professional rigor. She has been working at National Bank Financial for several years, where she assists a diverse clientele in achieving their financial goals, leveraging her technical skills and human approach.
