152 500 $ à 35 étudiant·e·s-athlètes en 2023
Montréal, le 23 novembre 2023 – Les 15 et 16 septembre dernier, le 7balancing Défi 808 Bonneville a été roulé à Mont-Tremblant permettant de recueillir les fonds pour remettre 152 500 $ en bourses et services octroyées par 15 parrains ou partenaires de l’événement à 35 étudiant·e·s-athlètes. Depuis la première édition en 2017, c’est ainsi plus d’un million de dollars qui a pu être versé en bourses à quelque 400 récipiendaires.
Lors de la remise des bourses qui s’est déroulée à la Maison du loisir et du sport du Québec, les commanditaires présentateurs Fenplast (8000 $) et Rona (10 000 $), les partenaires majeurs Bonneville (42 000 $) et Québecor (10 000 $) ainsi que 11 autres parrains ou partenaires ont pu rencontrer personnellement les étudiantes et étudiants-athlètes qu’ils soutiennent.
Il s’agissait de la dernière édition du Défi 808 Bonneville dans la forme actuelle. La Fondation Aléo transmet maintenant le témoin aux Industries Bonneville, qui prennent le relais de l’événement.

Over $1 Million in Bursaries Thanks to Seven Bonneville Challenges
$152,500 Awarded to 35 Student-Athletes in 2023
Montréal, November 23, 2023 – On September 15 and 16, participants in the seventh annual Bonneville 808 Challenge took to the pavement in Mont-Tremblant to raise the funds needed to award $152,500 in bursaries and services to 35 student-athletes, presented by fifteen event sponsors and partners. Since the very first Challenge in 2017, more than a million dollars in bursaries have been awarded to approximately 400 recipients.
At the awards gala, which was held at the Maison du Loisir et du Sport du Québec, presenting sponsors Fenplast ($8,000) and Rona ($10,000), major partners Bonneville ($42,000) and Québecor ($10,000), and eleven other sponsors and partners had the opportunity to award bursaries to the recipients and to meet their sponsored student-athletes in person.
This year’s event was the final Bonneville 808 Challenge to be held in its current form. The Aléo Foundation will now pass on the torch to Bonneville Industries, who will take over the event.
