Aléo Foundation Cascades Scholarship Program: A Human Commitment

Kingsey Falls, June 17, 2025 – Mr. Hugues Simon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cascades, personally welcomed the 23 scholarship recipients of the 21ste award ceremony for the Cascades Program scholarship at the Aléo Foundation. A total of $100,000 $ in scholarships and services was thus awarded to the 2025 cohort at the Quebec multinational's premises.

A prestigious partner of the Aléo Foundation since 2005, Cascades is one of the allies that has greatly contributed to the Foundation's success. Over these two decades, its investment of over $2,000,000 $ in Quebec's student-athletes has largely helped change the landscape of high-level sports for local athletes, by combining studies and elite sports under a single plan. The impact is tangible and significant.

For example, Cascades has notably been a stepping stone for Mikaël Kingsbury, Alex Harvey, Amélie Kretz, Emilie and Hugues Fournel as well as’Alexandre Bilodeau all recognized for their athletic achievements and also, now, in their respective professional fields.

A total of $$100,000 in scholarships and services was awarded to the 2025 cohort in Kingsey Falls, the birthplace of the Quebec multinational.

As a prestigious partner of the Aléo Foundation since 2005, Cascades has been a major contributor to the Foundation’s success. Over the past two decades, its investment of more than $2,000,000 in Quebec student-athletes has had a profound effect on transforming the landscape of high-level sport for local athletes who combine both academic studies and elite-level sport. The impact is tangible and far-reaching.

For example, Cascades has been a springboard for Mikaël Kingsbury, Alex Harvey, Amélie Kretz, Emilie and Hugues Fournel and Alexandre Bilodeau — all recognized for their sporting achievements and professional contributions.
