New Scholarship Program – The President's Scholarship Game Plan: Vector for Graduate Studies

Montreal, April 2, 2024 – A brand-new scholarship is taking flight at the Aléo Foundation! President's scholarship Game plan will lend a hand to athletes wishing to pursue higher education in business administration at one of Quebec's French-language universities.

The first one President's scholarship Game plan, worth 5,000 $, will be awarded this spring to a student-athlete who is starting a master’s program in business administration, or the equivalent, in the fall of 2024.

This collaboration marks the continuation of the joint efforts of the Aléo Foundation and Game plan to encourage high-level student-athletes to pursue their sport and studies in a healthy and balanced environment.

Interested student-athletes must be eligible for the program Game plan, or have been eligible in the past, and are required to complete the application form available on the websites of this program and the Aléo Foundation. The deadline to submit an application is April 28, 2024.

About the Aléo Foundation

Created in 1985, the Fondation de l'athlète d'excellence (FAEQ) has awarded over 20 million dollars in bursaries to nearly 5,000 outstanding student-athletes from all over Quebec. With the goal of clarifying the organization's mission—which aims to propel athletes beyond sport—the FAEQ changed its name and brand identity in 2022 and is now known as the Fondation Aléo. In addition to continuing to award academic bursaries and support services to the leaders of tomorrow, it reaffirms its personalized approach, placing the overall personal development and performance well-being of its bursary recipients at the heart of its actions.

New Scholarship Program

From The Podium To The Classroom:
Aleo Foundation announces the Game Plan President’s Scholarship

Montreal - April 2nd, 2024 - The Aleo Foundation is pleased to announce the brand-new Game Plan President’s Scholarship aimed at helping eligible athletes pursue post-graduate studies in business, in one of Québec’s francophone universities.

The Game Plan President’s Scholarship, worth $5000, will select its first recipient this spring—a student-athlete who is starting an MBA or equivalent program in the fall of 2024.

This collaboration marks the continuation of a joint effort by the Aléo Foundation and Game Plan to encourage high-level student-athletes to pursue their sport and their studies in a healthy and balanced environment.

Qualified student-athletes must be Game Plan eligible, or have been eligible in the past, and must fill out the application form, available on the Game Plan and Aléo Foundation websites. The deadline to apply is April 28the, 2024.
